CHARITABLE INITIATIVES
The brands of American Express Publishing have established multiple charitable initiatives to raise public awareness and support for a diverse range of important platforms. By leveraging the power of our brands, these ongoing efforts have been able to address issues as varied as increasing access to locally and sustainably grown foods and encouraging environmentally responsible travel. Some of our ongoing programs include:

Grow for Good

Food & Wine Grow for Good, is a national initiative dedicated to supporting local farms and encouraging sustainable agriculture. To celebrate the 25th Food & Wine Classic in Aspen in June 2007, Food & Wine launched this national campaign to increase consumer access to locally- and sustainably-grown foods. The campaign was created to raise $1 million over a multi-year period for nonprofit partners dedicated to supporting small- and medium-sized farms and creating demand for locally-grown foods. In its first year, Grow for Good raised more than $400,000 for Farm to Table, a national initiative of Earth Pledge. For the campaigns second year, Food & Wine has selected Wholesome Wave Foundation as its new beneficiary. > MORE
